We’re more than a dental office, more than a sleep spa. We’re a safe space designed for people who’ve been dismissed, rushed, or made to feel invisible in traditional care.
Here, your nervous system matters as much as your teeth. Every treatment is designed with empathy, delivered with clarity, and grounded in comfort.
Skilled hands, proven methods, and a trauma-informed approach.
No jargon, no judgment, just straight answers.
We treat the whole you, not just your mouth.
Care that calms before it even begins.
I’m Dr. Talia Lafond, DMD, founder of Sleep Easy Dental Spa and a Bucks County native. My mission is simple: to change the way people experience dentistry. Here, care is about more than your teeth — it’s about your whole well-being. From sleep solutions that don’t require bulky devices, to spa-inspired relaxation and pain-free dentistry, every detail is designed to help you feel safe, seen, and at ease.
My path to dentistry was anything but typical. At 19, I entered dental school as the youngest in my class — while raising my first daughter, working part-time, and serving as a National Health Service Corps scholar. By 23, I was a doctor. My career carried me from small-town Washington, where I learned to make dentistry fun for kids in multiple languages, to the island of St. Croix, where I built a dental clinic from the ground up as Chief Dental Officer. Later, I completed my pediatric residency in New Jersey during the height of the COVID pandemic, providing emergency care while my department doubled as a COVID isolation unit.
Behind the credentials is one guiding value: integrity. I’ve committed myself to advanced training well beyond licensing requirements, and I’m pursuing third-party accreditation to ensure this spa meets the highest possible standards. At Sleep Easy Dental Spa, you’ll never feel rushed or overlooked. You’ll always have time, information, and care tailored to your needs.
Beyond the Credentials
Today, I’m Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry and on track for my second board certification in Dental Sleep Medicine. These specialties allow me to serve patients of all ages — from children who need a gentle start in dentistry, to adults managing dental anxiety, TMJ pain, or sleep-related conditions.
When I’m not working with patients, I’m home with my husband, Kelvin — a retired Navy veteran and my greatest support — and our four children. I carry the same values into my family life that I do into my practice: honesty, empathy, and the belief that calm can always be created, even in chaos.
My promise is simple: at Sleep Easy Dental Spa, your visit will be gentle, transparent, and truly restorative.
Life outside the chair
Dr. Lafond has completed more than 1,351 Medicaid pediatric dental surgeries for children and teens across Pennsylvania and New Jersey — often traveling up to 3.5 hours roundtrip to ensure every child receives the care they deserve, regardless of circumstance.
For over thirteen years, she has returned to the island of St. Croix six to ten times per year to provide pediatric dental services in a community without a resident pediatric dentist, ensuring children continue to receive consistent, compassionate care.
Living and working in Moses Lake and Quincy, Washington, Dr. Lafond spent three and a half years providing comprehensive dental care in underserved communities — building relationships that extended far beyond the dental chair.
Her work at Frederiksted Community Health brought full-scope dental services to rural St. Croix, where she lived and practiced for more than three years, helping expand access to essential oral healthcare.
Even after relocating, Dr. Lafond continues to return to the Virgin Islands multiple times each year to treat children and support the island’s ongoing oral health needs.
Through St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in North Philadelphia, she provided two years of mobile dental care at no cost to families — serving children directly in their neighborhoods.
Dr. Lafond volunteered for two week-long mission trips to the rural southwest region of Jamaica, offering emergency dental services at Hopewell Youth Center to families with little to no access to dental care.
During a Rotary Club–sponsored mission at La Clinica Rural Linda Alley, she provided emergency dental services to underserved rural communities, expanding access to critical care where it was needed most.
